Positional Entries
Positional entries are a specific entry type in which a protected swing forms prior to the opening of a new higher timeframe candle. Price must be opening near the invalidation point. Because the protected swing is already established at the candle’s open, a new IC-CISD is neither expected nor desired; if one occurs, it indicates that price is forming a consolidation rather than expanding

It is called a positional entry because the trade is positioned at the open of the new higher timeframe candle, with the expectation that price will either expand immediately or form its wick while respecting the lower timeframe protected swing. Although continuations may sometimes provide an additional entry, price will often expand right away and not offer further opportunities.
