Following a valid candle 2 or candle 3 closure, when dropping to the lower timeframes, there are situations where price does not initially confirm the CISD. Instead, price retraces into a fair value gap and then forms a new protected swing. In this case, price creates both the new protected swing (IC-CISD) and the CISD simultaneously.
